Lewis County Farm Bureau Scholarship

 

Lewis County Farm Bureau is offering two (2) scholarships of $750.00 each to deserving college bound Lewis County students.

 

Who can apply:

Any Lewis County high school senior, GED graduate or college student, may apply for these scholarships.  However, extra consideration will be given to students from Farm Bureau member families or those who have been actively involved in agricultural activities. A career in agriculture is not required.

 

How to apply:

The scholarship committee requests the following application be filled out and attached to a letter of interest.

The letter of interest should include why you are a qualified candidate for the scholarship. Write about yourself, your interests, activities and why we should provide you with this scholarship.

The letter should be in business format and sent by regular U.S.Postal mail, not email. Limit your letter to no more than 2 (two) pages.

Letters must be postmarked before April 15, 2010 to allow time for the scholarship comittee to review and make decisions.

DO NOT include letters of recommendations, resumes or transcripts.
