Washington Forest Practices and Legal Rights of
Small
Forest
Landowners
The Citizens
Alliance for Property Rights (CAPR), Family Forest Foundation
(FFF), and the Washington Farm Forestry
Association (WFFA) have teamed up to bring you an educational
seminar titled: ‘Forest
& Fish Rules and the Law: Takings impacts on Small Forest
Landowners’.
The legal firms of Groen, Stephens and Klinge
and Pacific Legal
Foundation will provide a general overview of takings law,
takings law and Forest and Fish,
and a description of a viable parcel for a takings case.
This seminar will be held on Thursday June 24,
2010 from
10:00 AM to
4:00 PM with
an hour break for lunch which will be provided. It will be held at the Veterans Memorial Museum, 100 SW Veterans Way in
Chehalis,
WA. Take I-5 exit #77, go west and then
immediately south on Riverside Road and then left on
Veterans
Way.
Attendees will receive legal instruction, time for Q &
A’s, and a binder of legal definitions and cases. This seminar will provide expert legal information at
a reasonable price and
in a format that provides
value to Small Forest Landowners.
To register send $60 per person or $100 per couple (one
notebook) and mail to Washington Farm Forestry Association at PO Box
1010, Chehalis, WA 98532. Registration is for the seminar, lunch and
materials and is first come first serve. Space is limited and the deadline for receipt of
